I was very happy on the way however it was repaired no damage at all. The Ram 2025 seems better than the accident that was made. Very surprised it was all fixed before the due date to be picked up ♥️

I would NOT recommend Gerber Collision on State St. in Elgin. I only ended up at this location because it was part of the insurance repair process. My Mazda CX-5 was originally estimated to take about one week, but it was kept for approximately three weeks. During that time, communication was poor and getting someone to answer the phone or provide clear updates was extremely difficult. When I finally picked up my vehicle, I found visible paint defects, dripping paint from the repair work, a scratch inside the rear passenger-side door, Trip A and Trip B had been cleared/reset, and someone else’s property was left inside my vehicle. When I raised these concerns with the shop manager, Israel, I felt dismissed instead of helped. He suggested the paint issue may have been caused by another shop, even though I am the original owner and the vehicle has never been repaired elsewhere. Rather than taking accountability for the issues I identified, he repeatedly deflected responsibility and dismissed my concerns. Not even 5 years later and the trunk lid they put on my car has completely rusted through. Very cheap and dishonest body shop. They will slack in as many areas as they legally can. You’ll be happy with your first result but it’s the equivalent to landlords painting over mold.

Very happy with the work Gerber did. Our car looks like new. They kept us informed along the way too. Great staff. Even detailed the interior before we picked it up

Gerber Collision Elgin did an amazing job with my vehicle. I'm very pleased with them and their customer service. They completed work ahead of due date.
